Powertrain Options

The Super Duty® offers three different engine options. The new 7.3-liter V8 engine achieves 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. The standard 6.2-liter gas engine allows you to haul up to 7,850 pounds when properly equipped. There’s also a 6.7-liter Power Stroke® diesel V8 engine, which reaches an impressive 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Available with each engine, the new 10-speed heavy-duty TorqShift® automatic transmission makes trailering more efficient.

Capabilities

The Super Duty® is capable of handling your towing needs and allows you to easily bring all you need to work sites. The heavy-duty truck can tow up to 37,000 pounds when properly equipped. It also contains a high-strength steel boxed frame and has a high-strength, aluminum-alloy body, making it a durable truck. Integrated gooseneck hitch mounts are also easy to use, while the upgraded LED taillamps and headlamps add more visibility.

Innovative Technologies

The Super Duty® contains new technologies to give you more confidence while towing. The new available Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ allows you to stay in control of your trailer, even in tight spaces. By simply turning a knob, you can dictate the direction that the trailer will go in. You can also keep an eye on the trailer with a reverse camera. The Trailer Reverse Guidance displays the trailer’s direction and angle. Plus, the feature can give you steering suggestions when you want to back up the trailer. While in the cabin, up to 10 devices can also access the Wi-Fi® and stay connected on the go.
