New Ford F-250 & Ford F-350 | Ponca City, OK

Full-size pickup trucks, like the best-selling 2019 Ford F-Series, are great in virtually any situation. Whether you’re running errands around town, traveling with the entire family, heading to work or tackling tough off-road terrain, the 2019 F-Series can handle each drive with ease. Two stand out vehicles within the series are the 2019 Ford F-250 and the 2019 Ford F-350. Both are great vehicles, but it’s important to know their differences so you can purchase the pickup that’s best for you.

All of us at Jack Bowker Ford Lincoln in Ponca City, OK are proud to have both the 2019 Ford F-250 and the 2019 Ford F-350 on our lot. Visit us and take a test drive in both pickups to see which truck is right for you.

Exterior Features

The 2019 F-250 and the 2019 F-350 each have a variety of exterior options, many of which are shared between the two pickups. Both the F-250 and the F-350 share the same bed dimensions, cab design and trim options. The trims include XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum. Each trim gives you the option of a standard cab, Super Cab or Crew Cab. Both can also be equipped with a short box or a long box. The only true difference between the exteriors of the F-250 and the F-350 is that the F-350 alone gives the option of dual rear wheels to handle heavier towing loads.

Performance

The F-250 and the F-350 share the same impressive powertrain choices. For both trucks, you have the option between the 6.2-liter V8 Gas engine, which makes 385 horsepower and 430 Ib-ft of torque, and the 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel, which generates 450 horsepower and 935 Ib-ft of torque. Either way, each engine has an immense amount of power, so choose the engine that makes the most sense with your driving habits.

Capability

Towing capacity is the main differentiator between the two formidable trucks. When properly equipped, the F-350 offers significantly more towing capacity with a maximum of 32,000 pounds. Meanwhile, the F-250 can tow up to 18,500 pounds when properly equipped. A maximum payload of 7,640 pounds sets the F-350 ahead of the F-250, which can carry a max of 4,270 pounds. As such, if you want to do some heavy duty lifting, the F-350 is the pickup for you. However, if you don’t need to do as much towing, consider the F-250.
